We all know that we are not Columbus exploring new territories and boundaries. Nowadays there are smartphones and internet even in the most remote jungle in Amazon. Even in the middle of desert we can communicate by Starlink. Some can say the world is fully explored and there are no land waiting to be unraveled. Its true but I believe that there are still bits of places waiting to be unravelled, still mysterious to foreigners. I seek to travel these places, rather seeking crowded bustling megacities or resorts. (That doesn’t mean I will never visit big cities :)). I am sure people who are aligned with me can enjoy my travel blog and hopefully I can cause a spark for the yearning of exploration, providing a getaway from boring repetitive monotonous work and schools.

Oh, hi. A little bit of myself. My name is Seongyeon Hwang – a.k.a. Yeon – who are passionate with traveling (at least of now, the other day you may find this site closed when i lose interest) and one day aims to travel at least 150+ countries in my lifetime, before I go into a wheelchair.

The purpose of this website is mainly to reflect my overall adventure. Yes, you can call it as, a “diary”. and I aim to write where I have been and what I witnessed, what I ate, and what i felt, as genuinely as possible, since I have a serious forgetfulness (no joke). Ah, and to practice my English skills. (also no joke)

But I also like to give raw new information to others, which often does not exist in Google and even our ai agents like ChatGPT or Gemini find it hard to answer. Information that can only be known by being there, by meeting with locals.

My blog will consist of pictures mostly, since I suck at writing. Also this doesn’t mean I am good at photography, It is less of a suck but still somwhere in that category. But this is because I prefer taking pictures, and also I think seeing it conveys more than reading words.
